Verified Security Solutions began operations in 2011 with founder Sheri McKinney.

Sheri McKinney started her career as security salesperson in 1989 working for Ranger American Security. Ranger Security supplied home security systems to the residential new home market. During Sheri’s tenure at Ranger American she captured over 75% market share of the top volume builders in DFW.

In 2008 and 2009 during the recession and financial crisis Ranger American Security sold to a strategic buyer and Sheri was soon laid off.

During her transition she discovered a unique commercial security product RSI “Videofied”. The product was something she had always been asked for while selling to home builders. A product not requiring power or phone that provided video clips that enabled a verified police response.

Soon thereafter, the formation of “Verified Security Solutions” was established and Sheri begin selling the Videofied product under her own brand. From 2011 through today VSS is currently managing hundreds of monitoring accounts and has made over 150 arrest utilizing the Videofied product.

In 2015 Verified Security Solutions received certification to be a “Minority Women Owned Business” and “HUB”.
